Jack Dawson has nothing on Steph [verse: Bee's Knees]

Stephanie had finally finished moving everything to her floor at the Stark Tower. Including having secret drawers that not even Natasha or Fury could get to that held more precious items and some...very special items like books and things.

She even had ventured out a few days ago to buy fresh art supplies but found herself actually lacking in inspiration for the first time. It was a quiet afternoon. Everyone else were out or working quietly today in their respective areas.

She laughed at that. Well. Pepper still was shocked at that. As was Natasha. Steph...just thought it to be sweet.

So Tony plops down on the couch totally naked. "What movie?"

She shook her head at that and walked into her bedroom to grab the pink silk robe and wrap it around herself and hang the towel up to dry. "Anything sounds good."

Tony had JARVIS run some random movie that would fit Steph's tastes.

When the movie began, she walked up to the couch from behind and hugged him gently.

"Hm?" He looks up, patting her arm. "What?"

She kissed his temple. She could say that she loved him but knew those words made him uncomfortable.

He'll get there one day. One day when he's not afraid of loving someone the way a normal person did.

"Just sayin' hi," she whispered before walking around the couch and snuggling up to him.

"Alright." He shrugs and pulls the blanket around them.

Stephanie stayed close and watched the movie, mostly just enjoying Tony's presence when they could just be themselves.

Eventually Tony falls asleep because he never manages to stay awake during their movie dates.

She felt his heavy weight against her and was reminded of their first snuggle together. She kissed the top of his head. "I love you, Tony," she whispered.

He mumbles a little and snuggles in closer to her. He loves her too.

Stephanie just held him close then arranged for him to sleep on with his head in her lap as she continued to watch the movie.

Yeah, he's not waking up until she moves.

Good, she'll let him get his rest then. Except their quiet moment was interrupted by an emergency call from SHIELD. "Tony, wake up. Work time."

Slowly he wakes up. "What?" He sits up, forgetting he's naked. "SHIELD?"

"Yup. Go suit up. I'll meet you on the balcony?"

"Damn it." Tony heads up to get his suit and some clothes. He meets Steph on the balcony. "Totally ran into the Black Widow on my up to get changed."

Steph was already dressed and ready. "Yeah? Is she taking the jet over?"

"I think so." He nods. "My way is faster."

"Not all of us have jet boots," she teased. "Come on, faster we get there,.the faster we can come back."

"Deal. Meet you there." And he leans forward, the mask up so he can give her a quick kiss before flying off.

She laughed and kissed him before jumping down to land in the jet Natasha was piloting.
