When he made note of the Medorian nobility, she looked a bit concerned. "Sounds like I might have my work cut out for me," she murmured. "Well, then. Let's go. We'll put as much romance as we can into this one. Then really crank it up when we get back to Earth."

"Do they hurt?" he asked, kissing her with worry. "I can stop that..."

"Starting to hurt a little." She was beginning to feel too sensitive.

A little warmth from his hands, and he eased the pains in her - leaving the pleasure; though he doubted she'd be able to relax with that alone. "Better?"

She peered up at him. "Please? Take them out?" Or she could take them out herself.

"...Since you said please." He turned them off, first - a gentle bit of will - and moved for the one in her rear. The one in her sex was designed to stay in, long term - but he'd remove it too if she insisted.

As long as the one in her rear was taken out. She buried her face in his neck again. "Wow..."

"So tell me," he inquired, taking her head in his hand, "have I made you the happiest woman not on earth?"

I keep seeing commercials for Magic Mike and snickering

She laughed and turned to kiss his palm. "You managed to tire me out. So yes, I'd say you have."

She chuckled contentedly. "All right, all right. What about if my team needs me relatively soon?"

"They started working on the alarm system soon after we got here," he promised. "We'll have it finished as soon as you return tomorrow."

"How about a rest, then?" she asked, then yawned. "You really wore me out there."

"I think a rest would be nice," he whispered, cuddling tighter against her.

Steph cuddled him back and breathed deeply, laughing softly. "Almost like a dream."

"Then best not wake up." He held her close, leaning in to kiss the top of her head.

"Gotta. There's always a mission at hand," she sighed.

"Always?" he asked, hand curving about her breast as he prepared himself to drift towards sleep.

"Always." Steph curled around him and began to drift off.

Perhaps he would find a way to help her with that; for now, he was content to lie with her, wraps wrapped gently about as sleep took him as well.

And the morning, he would see what else they might get up to.

They would. If the small alarm didn't sound off.

Steph groaned and cuddled closer to Nathaniel. "Shut the alarm off, would you?" she mumbled. Wait. Alarm? She blinked open her eyes.

"Alarm?" he questioned, stirring himself.

"Is that the alarm for the Avengers?" Medorians seemed to do quick work. She got up and began to search for her clothes.

"An alarm for some trouble," he admitted. "I was relying on you to carry over the call button to the avengers themselves; but I did some men keeping an eye out for problems."

She was still a bit sore form the previous night's activities. "Well where's the call button?" Steph asked as she pulled on her underthings and clothes.

"I'll have to take you back," he murmured. "...Or get you a phone."
