When he made note of the Medorian nobility, she looked a bit concerned. "Sounds like I might have my work cut out for me," she murmured. "Well, then. Let's go. We'll put as much romance as we can into this one. Then really crank it up when we get back to Earth."

She laughed and kissed him back. "We should probably stop with other people in teh room."

"Probably." He broke free at last, kissing her.

She laughed. "Nathaniel, I think they're waiting for us to sign the papers."

He looked it over quietly a moment, before signing it. "I was married once before, you should know; a long time ago."

Well. "What happened with her?" she asked quietly.

"She was killed." He glanced down, and then back up. "You need to know that being the ruler's wife isn't without dangers."

"And you know that being associated with me isn't a walk in the park either, right?" she asked softly. "So you know I can take care of myself."

He smiled, faintly, giving her the pen. "I know."

She carefully signed her name on the contract after reading it over.

Stephanie laughed and kissed him back, bringing him close. "Yup. I'm not changing my name, you know that, right?"

She kissed him over and over again. "Shall we?"

"To the bedroom?" he teased, scooping her up again.

She held on and nuzzled his neck. "Not too many people get to sweep me off my feet. Glad to say you're the first."

"Pleased to be the first," he told her, holding her tighter on the way to the bedroom. Again, he would lay her out upon the mattress. But this time, he would begin to undress her - taking the hem of her shirt.

She reached and slowly unbuttoned the buttons of his shirt as she kissed him. Her wedding night. She could hardly believe it herself.

With another kiss, he pulled the shirt over her head, kissing her again - placing his hand over her breast. "Well."

"Well?" she asked. She was now in her bra and skirt.

"You look wonderful." Slowly, one hand still holding her breast, he moved to lower her skirt.

She unbuttoned the rest of his shirt buttons and pushed it off of his shoulders. "You're not so bad yourself."

"Is that so?" he whispered, kissing her as he removed the skirt completely. Then he would reach about to unhook her bra, kissing again.

She kissed him back, raising her hips to let him slip her skirt down. Her slip remained after he tugged off her bra. Stephanie sucked on his bottom lip.

"Fond of clothes?" he teased, gently - slowly - working to bare her breasts.
