When he made note of the Medorian nobility, she looked a bit concerned. "Sounds like I might have my work cut out for me," she murmured. "Well, then. Let's go. We'll put as much romance as we can into this one. Then really crank it up when we get back to Earth."

"Always?" he asked, hand curving about her breast as he prepared himself to drift towards sleep.

"Always." Steph curled around him and began to drift off.

Perhaps he would find a way to help her with that; for now, he was content to lie with her, wraps wrapped gently about as sleep took him as well.

And the morning, he would see what else they might get up to.

They would. If the small alarm didn't sound off.

Steph groaned and cuddled closer to Nathaniel. "Shut the alarm off, would you?" she mumbled. Wait. Alarm? She blinked open her eyes.

"Alarm?" he questioned, stirring himself.

"Is that the alarm for the Avengers?" Medorians seemed to do quick work. She got up and began to search for her clothes.

"An alarm for some trouble," he admitted. "I was relying on you to carry over the call button to the avengers themselves; but I did some men keeping an eye out for problems."

She was still a bit sore form the previous night's activities. "Well where's the call button?" Steph asked as she pulled on her underthings and clothes.

"I'll have to take you back," he murmured. "...Or get you a phone."

She sat on the bed and kissed him softly. "After the debrief, I'll come back. And we can get going on the Earth version of a wedding."

"Promise to be quick?" he asked, leaning forward.

She kissed him. "Quick as I can."

"I don't suppose I could come with you..."

"Evil geniuses? I don' want you mixed up in that. And you know what they say. You're not supposed to mix business with pleasure."

"It seems rather unavoidable once marriage is involved."

She paused. "I can't put you in danger like that, Nathaniel. You've got your people to look after."

"I could send a few warriors with you, at the very least; you are their queen, you know."

"And I don't want to risk them." It sounded odd. Queen Stephanie? Definitely something she had not considered, ever. "We'll talk about it when I come back?"

"So long as you come back alive," he teased, smiling.

"I need to get there first," she teased back.

"Then I suppose I'll guide you out." The closet door's handle glowed for a moment, before he opened it. "Through here."

She kissed him before going through the closet and appearing in SHIELD's HQ.

He would await her, then.

It would be a while before she would return and the soldiers from Medoria helped her install the call button at SHIELD in case she was needed. When she told the news, Pepper seemed to be very happy and began to help her plan a wedding within the next few days.

He would take any responsibility to be with once in a while; if only for a kiss.
